My Windows Mobile Developer Day Presentation Is Available Online
I just wanted to let everyone know that my presentation, entitled ".NET Compact Framework Tips & Tricks", is available for download over at BostonPocketPC.com. I have made the Powerpoint presentation, C# sample code and VB.NET sample code all available for your perusal.
Powerpoint Presentation
C# Sample Code
VB.NET Sample Code

the sample codes need the inthehand.pocketoutlook dll which is not freeware AFAIK.

Agreed 100%. If I gave that impression, I apologize. During my actual presentation I made that quite clear.I was certain to emphasize, however, that the minimal cost of Pocket Outlook in-the hand was well worth it :)

Hey Don, caught your talk at the Mobile Dev Day, great job! I learned a lot in that last hour and a half when I usually doze off and recharge myself for the drive back to CT. Not this time, I stayed awake, I learned a lot, and I fell asleep and ended up in a ditch on the way home. Just kidding, just wanted to let you know I enjoyed your late afternoon energy. Do you talk other places or do other events for Thom? Good luck with the blog, I linked to you and will be checking here often! Thanks again and keep up the great work! Dan K

Dan,
THanks for all of the kind words. They are greatly appreciated. Actually, this was the first event that I had done in conjunction with Thom. Previously, Fortunately, my presentations had all been at national events (Planet PDA, Pocket PC Summit) and our own Club Pocket PC - Boston. It does not look to be my last work with Thom, in spite of myself ;-) I will be involved with the Cabana Night in October, and we will see on other events.

What do you mean "and well see on other events..." I think if I remember correctly Thom needs speakers for Code Camp II ;) I'm sure we will be able to twist your arm to make a visit there and speak...
Glad to see you have a blog

Duane,
It's never a good thing to try to post comments to a blog while you have the hiccups ;-)
The arm has already been twisted for Code Camp II; it looks like I will be presenting (albeit with only one good hand, the other incapacitated from the arm-twisting).
